Obituary: Cheo K. Jackson, 1973-2017

Two weeks ago, I lost my husband. He was the most amazing man I’ve ever known and my very best friend in the world. I will love him forever. ❤

JACKSON, Cheo Kea’onakoa, 43, of Dallas, Tex. died November 26, 2017 at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas of a brain aneurysm he suffered Thanksgiving Day.

Cheo was born in Portland, Ore. on December 3, 1973, the second of three children of James and Pualani (Nakoa) Jackson. Cheo is survived by his parents, his wife Amy,  son Jason, and daughter Zoe. He is also survived by his brother Azikiwe Jackson, called Zik, sister-in-law Suzy, Zik’s daughters Felicity and Serenity, his sister Ayanna Moore, her daughter Makayla, and many other friends and family members.

Cheo had many passions and interests, and most recently was self-employed as a driver and photographer. His career included many years in the restaurant industry, where he was recognized as a consummate server, trainer, and wine expert. He was an avid competitor in sports throughout his lifetime, and enjoyed disc golf, table tennis, racquetball, and basketball. He graduated…
